Seaside Serenity Counseling LLC counselors, help clients to refocus and rebalance life in a positive manner in order for clients to get on with their lives in the most productive ways. Increasing insight, healing, and moving toward achieving goals is the touchstone of our services. Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is registered to provide telemental health services to residents in the State of Florida and is approved to provide telehealth services by the State of Delaware. She has over 25 years of experience in mental health and working with Law Enforcement and providing Employee Assistance Programs and consulting for small businesses and local municipalities. She received most of her training in mental health while working at Associates for Life Enhancement Inc. in Northfield, New Jersey. Additionally, she has received specialized training through the University of Pennsylvania for Anxiety disorders and training through Postpartum Support International in Maternal Mental Health.


If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, dual disorders, attachment/relationship issues or trauma. Karen can help you to make positive changes and assist you to recognize your own strengths to help you become the best version of yourself. Through the use of Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral and supportive therapies, Karen will provide you with tools to motivate change. 


Recognizing negative thoughts and feelings that lead to self-defeating behaviors will help challenge the way you think and interact with others. Karen will guide you through the process of change to help strengthen and build a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.

His firm belief is that when he shows you that you really can have full control over your thoughts and feelings, you can be empowered to drastically improve your life. Frank is the author of the books Heal Your Memories, Change Your Life, The Ultimate Guide to Healing Your Past, Empower Yourself Through Your Memories, and Emotional Intelligence, Skill For the Modern Age. Frank sees adolescents and adults.

Rita is a licensed clinical social worker who received her master's degree in social work from Rutgers University and began practicing in 1995. Rita is currently accepting new clients and provides individual therapy, utilizing CBT and solution-focused therapies. She enjoys working with adults, couples, and families. Further, Rita is a dedicated professional to the field of counseling and is very compassionate, empathic, and knowledgeable about the unique difficulties of her clients.


Rita also graduated with her BSN in nursing in 1989 from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Her nursing background has given her excellent clinical skills and she is well-trained and sensitive to the needs of women who are struggling with post-partum depression, infertility, adoption issues, and adults who may suffer from depression, anxiety, or other mood disorders.

Kelly has been working in the counseling field providing therapy, supervision, and oversight of clinical programs for the past 15 years. Her extensive experience has been gained through working in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for adults providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy services.


Kelly also has significant experience working with adults and with complex youth experiencing and suffering from intense trauma. She treats mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, trauma, and other mood disorders utilizing CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapies. Further, Kelly is a dedicated professional to the field of counseling and is very compassionate, empathic, and knowledgeable about the challenges her clients may face and feels that through therapy and support personal changes and goals can be obtained. Kelly is available in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Rebecca Klabe, MSW, LCSW

Rebecca is a licensed clinical social worker who received her master’s degree in social work from Temple University. Rebecca began working in the helping field in 2008, gaining experience in a variety of settings including community outpatient clinics, residential/in-patient treatment facilities, in-home therapy, schools, and crisis intervention working with children, adolescents, families, and parents.


If you or your child is struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, behavioral issues, or mental health challenges, Rebecca is here to help. She provides a safe and supportive environment where you can work on reaching your personal goals collaboratively. She utilizes holistic approaches, promoting change in order to create stronger and more meaningful relationships with yourself and others. Rebecca is available in the evenings.
